Students in the Design Your Path LLC are required and will be automatically enrolled in FYXP 2200 in the fall semester and will be automatically enrolled in FYXP 1500. While FYXP 1500 is not required, students who have completed this course have shown to be more successful during their first year on campus.

FYXP 1500: First Year Success Seminar

Designed to assist first-year students with their successful transition to the É«ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ. Students will learn about campus resources, goal setting, study skillsÌýand academic exploration. Participation in weekly self-reflection and engagement in course assignments are essential in this course. This asynchronous and online course will provide a supportive environment for new students to engage with peers, staffÌýand faculty to support their transition to college.

FYXP 2200: Design Thinking Seminar

Our Design Thinking Seminar introduces students to the principles of the design thinking framework and its application toward solution development and personal brand building. Through this course, living learning community residents will build relationships and design their own path in highly interactive and hands-on sessions to develop their own story, understand community needs, and create tangible solutions. Students will acquire a strong understanding of the design thinking framework, a deeper sense of their personal passions, and tools to craft their own path at CU and beyond. This course is only offered in the fall semester to residents within the Design Your Path LLC and enrollment is required for LLC participants.Ìý
